These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Wildlight Oasis website and any reservation made directly with Wildlight Oasis. Wildlight Oasis is operated by JCS Real Estate NC LLC (“Wildlight Oasis,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using our website, submitting a reservation, or purchasing services directly from Wildlight Oasis, you agree to these Terms. Additional terms, including a separate Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver, may apply to your reservation and stay.
Reservations are subject to availability, applicable minimum-stay requirements, occupancy limits, age requirements, and other property-specific restrictions displayed during the booking process or provided before your stay.
The person making the reservation must provide accurate and complete information and must be authorized to make the reservation and payment.
Woodland Mirrorhaus is currently an adults-only accommodation for guests age 21 and older, with a maximum occupancy of two registered guests. Children, infants, pets, and unregistered visitors are not permitted at Woodland Mirrorhaus.
Property-specific requirements may differ for future accommodations offered by Wildlight Oasis.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a reservation when reasonably necessary because of suspected fraud, inaccurate information, violation of booking requirements, payment failure, property unavailability, safety concerns, or other circumstances that would prevent us from reasonably honoring the reservation. Any refund due in such circumstances will be determined by the applicable booking terms and circumstances.
Rates, fees, taxes, deposits, payment schedules, and other charges applicable to your reservation will be displayed during the booking process.
By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and authorize us and our payment processor to charge amounts due in connection with your reservation according to the payment schedule disclosed at booking.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe. We do not necessarily receive or store your complete payment-card information.
Prices and availability may change at any time before a reservation is confirmed. Once a reservation is confirmed, the rates and terms applicable to that reservation will be governed by the confirmation, these Terms, and any applicable Rental Agreement.
Promotional offers, discounts, credits, and coupon codes are subject to their stated terms and may not be combined unless expressly permitted.
We understand that plans sometimes change. The following cancellation policy applies to reservations made directly with Wildlight Oasis unless different terms are clearly disclosed for a specific rate, promotion, package, or reservation.
Any additional refund will not exceed the amount originally retained from the cancelling guest for the cancelled lodging charges. Taxes, cleaning fees, optional add-ons, third-party charges, and other non-lodging charges may be handled separately as applicable.
An additional refund is not guaranteed and may depend on whether all or part of the cancelled stay is successfully rebooked and the lodging revenue actually recovered.
There is no standard rescheduling fee. If the new dates have a higher rate, the guest is responsible for the difference. If the new dates have a lower rate, the reservation total will be adjusted accordingly.
Rescheduling a reservation does not restart, extend, or restore any cancellation or refund period that has already expired. The rescheduled reservation retains the cancellation eligibility applicable when the date-change request was made, and cancellation terms may become more restrictive as the rescheduled stay approaches.
Reservations less than 30 days from the scheduled check-in date are not eligible for standard rescheduling.
Shortening a reservation does not restart or otherwise extend the cancellation period for the remaining nights.
Once a stay has begun, early departures and unused nights are non-refundable.
We encourage guests who are concerned about unforeseen circumstances affecting their trip to consider purchasing appropriate travel insurance.
If Wildlight Oasis determines that an accommodation cannot reasonably or safely be provided, we may cancel or modify the reservation and will provide any refund or other remedy required by applicable law and the circumstances. Wildlight Oasis is not responsible for separate travel expenses or other costs incurred by guests to the extent permitted by law.
Reservations made through third-party booking platforms, including Airbnb, are subject to the cancellation and refund policies applicable to the reservation on that platform and may differ from Wildlight Oasis's direct-booking policy.
Direct-booking guests may be required to review and electronically sign a separate Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver as a condition of their reservation.
The Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver may contain additional terms regarding occupancy, guest conduct, property rules, amenities, assumption of risk, damages, safety requirements, prohibited activities, and other conditions applicable to the stay.
Failure to complete required agreements or guest-verification requirements by the stated deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation in accordance with the applicable booking and cancellation terms.
If there is a conflict between these general website Terms and a signed Rental Agreement regarding the use of an accommodation or conduct during a stay, the Rental Agreement will control with respect to the stay.
Guests are responsible for reviewing and complying with all property rules, safety instructions, occupancy restrictions, and other requirements provided before or during the stay. Please review the House Rules before booking. The House Rules form part of the terms of your reservation.
Guests are responsible for the conduct of everyone included in their reservation and for any damage, loss, excessive cleaning, missing property, or other charges resulting from their stay to the extent permitted by applicable law and the applicable Rental Agreement.
Wildlight Oasis reserves the right to terminate a stay when reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated violations of property rules, unlawful activity, unauthorized guests or animals, threats to safety or property, or conduct that materially interferes with the peaceful operation of the property. Refund eligibility, if any, will be determined by the applicable reservation terms and circumstances.
Wildlight Oasis is a nature-based retreat located on private wooded acreage. Staying in a natural environment inherently involves conditions that may include insects, wildlife, uneven terrain, falling branches, pollen, changing weather, mud, water features, and other natural conditions.
Certain amenities and recreational activities may also involve inherent risks. Guests are responsible for following all posted or provided safety instructions and using amenities only as intended.
More detailed safety requirements, risk disclosures, and assumption-of-risk provisions may be included in the Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that accommodations, amenities, utilities, internet service, appliances, and other advertised features are available and functioning as expected.
However, occasional interruptions, maintenance issues, weather conditions, utility outages, equipment failures, internet disruptions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect the availability or use of certain features.
Outdoor amenities and experiences may also be affected by weather, temperature, seasonal conditions, or safety considerations.
We will make reasonable efforts to address issues brought to our attention, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of every amenity or service at all times.
We make reasonable efforts to keep information on our website accurate and current. However, photographs, descriptions, dimensions, amenities, availability, pricing, and other information may occasionally contain errors or may change over time.
Photographs are intended to represent the property and guest experience but may not reflect every seasonal, decorative, landscaping, furnishing, or other change.
If an obvious pricing, availability, or technical error affects a reservation, we reserve the right to correct the error and contact you regarding available options, including cancellation and a refund of amounts paid when appropriate.
Our website and booking experience may use or link to third-party services, including reservation platforms, payment processors, mapping services, communications providers, analytics services, and other technology providers.
We are not responsible for the availability, content, security, or independent practices of third-party websites or services. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Reservations made through third-party booking platforms are additionally subject to the terms and policies of those platforms.
By making a reservation, you agree that we may contact you using the email address or phone number you provide for transactional purposes related to your inquiry, reservation, stay, guest support, safety, or other necessary service communications.
Marketing email and promotional text communications are subject to the consent and opt-out practices described in our Privacy Policy.
Consent to receive promotional marketing messages is not required to make a reservation.
The Wildlight Oasis website and its content, including our name, logos, branding, photographs, videos, graphics, text, designs, and other original materials, are owned by or licensed to JCS Real Estate NC LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may use the website for personal, noncommercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, republish, commercially exploit, or otherwise use our website content without prior written permission, except as permitted by law.
You agree not to misuse our website or booking systems, attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or information, interfere with website operation or security, submit fraudulent information, use automated systems to improperly access the website, or use the website for unlawful purposes.
We reserve the right to restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect our website, guests, business, or systems.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded.
JCS Real Estate NC LLC and Wildlight Oasis will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the website or services to the extent such limitations are permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit rights or liabilities that cannot legally be waived or limited.
Additional provisions regarding risks, liability, indemnification, damages, and use of the property may be contained in the applicable Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver.
Wildlight Oasis will not be responsible for delays, interruptions, cancellations, or inability to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, which may include severe weather, natural disasters, wildfire, government orders, utility or internet outages, road closures, public emergencies, labor disruptions, or other events outside our reasonable control.
Any refunds, credits, rescheduling options, or other remedies available in such circumstances will be determined by the applicable reservation terms, cancellation policy, and applicable law.
Your use of our website and our handling of personal information are also governed by our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any legal action relating to these Terms or your direct reservation with Wildlight Oasis shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in North Carolina.
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to our website, accommodations, services, business practices, or legal requirements.
The version of these Terms in effect when a direct reservation is made will generally govern that reservation, together with the applicable booking confirmation and Rental Agreement.
Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

Cancellation, Changes, & Refunds
We understand that plans sometimes change. The following cancellation policy applies to reservations made directly with Wildlight Oasis unless different terms are clearly disclosed for a specific rate, promotion, package, or reservation.
48-Hour Grace Period
Reservations cancelled within 48 hours of booking are eligible for a full refund, provided the cancellation is made at least 7 days before the scheduled check-in date. Reservations made less than 7 days before check-in are not eligible for the 48-hour grace period.30 or More Days Before Check-In
Cancellations made 30 or more days before the scheduled check-in date are eligible for a 100% refund of refundable reservation charges.7–29 Days Before Check-In
Cancellations made 7–29 days before the scheduled check-in date are eligible for a 50% refund of refundable reservation charges.Less Than 7 Days Before Check-In
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled check-in date are non-refundable.Rebooked Cancelled Dates
If cancelled dates that were partially refundable or non-refundable are subsequently rebooked, Wildlight Oasis may, at its discretion, provide the cancelling guest with an additional refund based on the lodging revenue recovered from the replacement reservation.Any additional refund will not exceed the amount originally retained from the cancelling guest for the cancelled lodging charges. Taxes, cleaning fees, optional add-ons, third-party charges, and other non-lodging charges may be handled separately as applicable.

Reservation Changes & Rescheduling
Guests may request one date change per reservation when the request is made at least 30 days before the original scheduled check-in date. Date changes are subject to availability and approval by Wildlight Oasis.There is no standard rescheduling fee. If the new dates have a higher rate, the guest is responsible for the difference. If the new dates have a lower rate, the reservation total will be adjusted accordingly.

Removing one or more nights from an existing reservation is considered a partial cancellation. The cancellation policy in effect at the time of the request will apply to the lodging charges associated with the cancelled nights.Shortening a reservation does not restart or otherwise extend the cancellation period for the remaining nights.

No-Shows
Guests who do not arrive for their reservation without cancelling within an applicable refundable period are not eligible for a refund.Weather, Illness & Other Guest Circumstances
Weather conditions, illness, family or personal emergencies, travel delays, transportation disruptions, and other circumstances outside Wildlight Oasis's control do not automatically override the cancellation policy.We encourage guests who are concerned about unforeseen circumstances affecting their trip to consider purchasing appropriate travel insurance.

Exceptions
Wildlight Oasis may, at its sole discretion, offer an exception, additional refund, credit, or date change based on individual circumstances. Any such accommodation is a courtesy and does not modify this cancellation policy or create an entitlement to the same treatment for other reservations.Special Rates & Third-Party Reservations
Certain promotions, packages, discounted rates, or special offers may have different or non-refundable cancellation terms.
