Wildlight Oasis is a boutique nature retreat tucked into 34 wooded acres in Zebulon, North Carolina — created as a place to slow down, reconnect, & step away from the noise of everyday life.

Woodland Mirrorhaus is our first stay: a one-of-a-kind luxury mirror cabin designed primarily as a private escape for two, with its own outdoor spa, stargazing dome, fire areas, and access to the surrounding woods, trails, & pond.

And while Woodland Mirrorhaus is where the story begins, Wildlight Oasis is the larger retreat we're continuing to build over time.

Wildlight Oasis is located on 34 private wooded acres in Zebulon, North Carolina — about 30 minutes from downtown Raleigh.

You'll feel tucked away in the woods while still being close enough to Raleigh & the surrounding area for an easy weekend escape.

For privacy & security, the exact property address & arrival instructions are provided to registered guests before check-in.

Woodland Mirrorhaus was thoughtfully designed as an intimate escape for up to two guests.

It's especially suited for couples looking to reconnect, celebrate something special, or simply spend uninterrupted time together — but solo travelers looking for a peaceful retreat are absolutely welcome too.

Woodland Mirrorhaus is an adults-only retreat for guests 21 & older, and we do not currently allow pets.

The experience was intentionally designed around quiet, privacy, & relaxation, and keeping the retreat adults-only & pet-free helps us preserve the peaceful atmosphere we want every stay to have.

Very. Woodland Mirrorhaus is tucked into a completely secluded part of our private 34-acre property, with no neighboring homes, roads, other guest accommodations, or buildings visible from the cabin or its private outdoor spaces.

During the day, the floor-to-ceiling reflective glass mirrors the surrounding forest, allowing you to take in the views while maintaining privacy from outside. At night, when the interior lights are on, the glass becomes more transparent — so we've provided floor-to-ceiling curtains that can be closed whenever you'd like.

And even with the curtains open, you're still tucked away in your own secluded corner of the woods with no other guests or buildings in sight.

We live elsewhere on the property, approximately 0.2 miles away and completely out of sight — close enough if you need us, but far enough away that your retreat feels entirely your own.

Quite a few. 😊 Woodland Mirrorhaus includes a private hot tub, barrel sauna, cold plunge, clear stargazing dome, wood-burning fire pit, gas fire table, two projector setups, king bed with floor-to-ceiling forest views, robes & slippers, organic coffee & tea, games, and more.

You'll also have access to private wooded walking trails, the guest pond & kayaks, disc golf, and outdoor games across the property.

The amenities associated with Woodland Mirrorhaus are for the exclusive use of the registered guests staying there — you won't be sharing your hot tub, sauna, cold plunge, dome, or outdoor living spaces with other guests.

The clear geodesic dome is your own private hideaway tucked beside Woodland Mirrorhaus — a cozy place for stargazing, reading, talking late into the night, or simply hanging out surrounded by the woods.

Because the dome is an outdoor, greenhouse-like structure, its temperature naturally changes with the weather. During hot or sunny summer days, the dome can become extremely warm & may not be comfortable to use. It's best enjoyed during cooler parts of the day, in the evenings, & throughout the cooler seasons — when we think it's especially magical.

Woodland Mirrorhaus has a thoughtfully equipped kitchenette rather than a traditional full kitchen.

You'll have a refrigerator/freezer, convection oven/microwave combination, two-burner hot plate, toaster, blender, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glassware, utensils, and plenty of essentials for preparing simple meals during your stay.

We also provide an organic coffee & tea setup for slow mornings in the woods.

As much — or as little — as you'd like.

Soak in the hot tub, move between the sauna & cold plunge, sit around the fire, explore the wooded trails, paddle the pond, play disc golf or yard games, curl up for a movie night on one of the two indoor projector setups, make a slow cup of coffee, or simply do absolutely nothing for a while.

Sometimes the greatest luxury isn't having more to do. It's having nowhere else you need to be.

Absolutely. Woodland Mirrorhaus was designed with meaningful time together in mind, making it especially well-suited for anniversaries, honeymoons, birthdays, proposals, babymoons, mini-moons, or simply an excuse to get away together.

You don't need a special occasion to come, though. Sometimes getting away together is the occasion.

There's something different to love in every season.

Spring brings fresh green woods & comfortable days outside. Summer means long evenings, pond time, & nights beneath the stars. Fall transforms the forest with changing leaves & crisp evenings around the fire. And winter may be one of the coziest times of all — think sauna sessions, steaming hot-tub nights, fires, blankets, & forest views from bed.

The best season really depends on the kind of escape you're craving.

Yes. Woodland Mirrorhaus has Wi-Fi, including connectivity for streaming on both projector setups. So you can stay connected when you want to — although we fully support disappearing for a while. 😉

Check-in is 4:00 PM or later, and check-out is by 11:00 AM Eastern Time.

You'll receive everything you need for arrival before your stay so you can settle in & start enjoying the woods right away.

We typically have a two-night minimum stay, although minimums may vary depending on your dates & how far in advance you're booking. Shorter last-minute stays may occasionally become available, including select one-night openings between existing reservations.

The exact minimum stay for your dates will always be shown when you check availability.

Longer stays are always welcome — and once you're here, you may be glad you gave yourself the extra time. 😉

We understand that plans can change. For direct bookings, cancellations made 30 days or more before check-in receive a full refund; cancellations made 7–29 days before check-in receive a 50% refund; and cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in are non-refundable.

We also offer a 48-hour grace period after booking for a full refund, provided your stay is at least 7 days away.

In some cases, if we're able to rebook cancelled dates, we may be able to provide an additional refund.
