You can feel completely hidden in the North Carolina forest — and still be only about 30 minutes from downtown Raleigh.

Spend the day exploring the city, enjoying an incredible dinner, or discovering the greater Raleigh area...

Then follow the gravel road back through the trees to your own private world.

Of course, don't be surprised if you arrive at the Mirrorhaus & decide you don't want to leave at all!

Guests have private access to the entire Woodland Mirrorhaus, & will receive a unique keypad code for the smart lock before the start of your stay.

Guests also have access to all outdoor spaces immediately surrounding the Mirrorhaus, including:

You'll also have access to designated areas of the larger Wildlight Oasis property, including marked forest trails & the guest pond with two kayaks.

The hosts live elsewhere on the 34-acre property, approximately 0.2 miles away from the Mirrorhaus. You may occasionally see us elsewhere on the property, but our home—and all neighboring structures—are completely out of sight from the Mirrorhaus & its private outdoor spaces.

We've created a digital guidebook that will most likely answer any questions you might have during your stay, but we will also be available via messaging if you need anything.

🌲 SECLUSION

Woodland Mirrorhaus is designed to feel wonderfully removed from everyday life. The cabin is surrounded by trees with no homes, roads, or neighboring buildings visible from your private retreat.

Because we're still part of the real world, we can't promise complete silence at every moment. On occasion, distant sounds may travel through the woods — but visually, your retreat feels entirely tucked away.

🌌 STARGAZING DOME

Our clear dome is an outdoor, seasonal experience. Like a greenhouse, it can become quite warm when the sun is strong — especially during North Carolina summers. We recommend enjoying it during cooler weather, comfortable evenings, or after daytime temperatures have dropped.

🌿 NATURE

This is a luxury stay — but it's also a true stay in the woods.

That means you may encounter insects, wildlife, leaves, pollen, changing weather, & all the other little reminders that you're surrounded by nature. We believe that's part of what makes staying here so special.

We designed Woodland Mirrorhaus around a simple idea:

Sometimes the greatest luxury isn't having more to do.

It's having nowhere else you need to be.

Sleep late with the forest outside your windows. Take your coffee back to bed. Spend an afternoon moving between the sauna, cold plunge, & hot tub. Put a record on. Walk through the woods. Make s'mores after dark. Talk without rushing. Stay in your robe longer than socially acceptable.

For a little while, let the rest of the world feel far away.
