House Rules
We’ve thoughtfully created Woodland Mirrorhaus to be a peaceful, restorative retreat in the woods. Please treat the Mirrorhaus, its amenities, and the surrounding property with care so it can remain just as special for every guest who stays here. 🤎
• Woodland Mirrorhaus is an adults-only retreat with a maximum occupancy of 2 registered guests.
• Only guests included on the reservation are permitted on the property. No unregistered visitors or additional guests are allowed without prior approval.
• No parties, events, or gatherings are permitted.
• Pets are not permitted at Woodland Mirrorhaus. Thank you for helping us maintain a clean, peaceful environment for all of our guests.
• Wildlight Oasis is a non-smoking property.
• Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited indoors (including the Mirrorhaus itself, the stargazing dome, or any other enclosed structures). Guests may be responsible for professional smoke/odor remediation and associated costs if evidence of indoor smoking is found.
• Never discard cigarette butts, matches, or other smoking materials anywhere on the property or in the woods.
• Quiet hours are 10:00 PM–8:00 AM.
• Please help us preserve the peaceful atmosphere of Wildlight Oasis by keeping music, voices, and other noise at a respectful level, particularly outdoors.
• Check-in begins at 4:00 PM and checkout is by 11:00 AM.
• Early check-in or late checkout must be approved in advance and may be subject to an additional fee.
Please follow the operating instructions in our digital guidebook and treat all spa equipment with care.
• Do not tamper with, disconnect, drain, or alter equipment, controls, or settings.
• Do not add oils, soaps, salts, bath products, fragrances, ice, or other substances to the hot tub or cold plunge.
• No glass in or around the hot tub or cold plunge. Outdoor drinkware is provided.
• Never sit, stand, or place objects on the hot tub cover. Replace the hot tub and cold plunge covers after use.
• Do not pour water, essential oils, or other products onto the sauna heater unless specifically instructed otherwise. No food inside the sauna; water is welcome.
• Please turn the sauna off after use.
• Burn firewood only in the wood-burning fire pit. Firewood and fire starters are provided.
• Never leave a fire unattended, and fully extinguish the fire before leaving the area or going to bed.
• Outdoor fires are not permitted during burn bans or unsafe fire conditions.
• Follow the provided instructions for the gas fire table. Do not move or tamper with the fire table, propane tank, or connections, and completely turn off the fire table and propane supply after use.
• Please help us keep the dome clean by removing dirty or muddy shoes before entering. Clean, dry shoes are okay.
• Food and drinks are welcome—please clean up any spills and remove all food and trash when finished.
• Please do not move or rearrange the furniture or other items inside the dome.
• Fully zip and close the dome whenever you leave it, even if you plan to return later.
• Please do not move or rearrange indoor or outdoor furniture, décor, artwork, projectors, electronics, or other equipment.
• Projectors and screens are provided in both the living room and bedroom. Please follow the operating instructions in the digital guidebook.
• Do not move, reposition, disconnect, or adjust the projectors, mounts, cables, or other electronic equipment.
• Please handle the pull-down projector screens gently. Do not pull them forcefully, and never allow a screen to snap or fly back up when retracting it.
• Please return all remotes to the room and designated location where you found them after use.
• We encourage removing shoes at the door, especially when they are wet, dirty, or muddy. Please do not wear shoes on the indoor area rugs.
• Please dry off before entering after using the hot tub, cold plunge, kayaks, or being outside in wet weather, and do not sit on indoor furniture or bedding while wet.
• Separate spa/outdoor towels are provided. Please keep indoor bath towels inside the Mirrorhaus.
• Take special care around the mirrored exterior and glass walls. Do not lean objects against the glass, attach anything to it, or throw/hit objects toward the Mirrorhaus.
• No candles, incense, or other open flames are permitted inside.
• Please use only the cooking appliances provided. Personal grills, burners, fryers, or other cooking appliances require prior approval.
• Your stay includes Woodland Mirrorhaus and the designated guest areas of Wildlight Oasis shown on our property map.
• Wooded trails are for daylight use only and close at sunset. Please remain on designated trails rather than venturing into heavily wooded or brush-covered areas.
• Guests may enjoy the designated guest pond and two provided kayaks. Swimming and fishing are not currently permitted.
• Pond access and kayaking are permitted during daylight hours only. Life jackets must be worn at all times while kayaking.
• Please do not feed, approach, capture, or disturb wildlife.
• The Main House, surrounding yard, Main House pond, and any areas marked private are not accessible to guests.
• Please use outdoor games only in appropriate areas and never throw discs or other objects toward the Mirrorhaus, vehicles, people, wildlife, or other structures.
• A maximum of 2 guest vehicles is permitted per reservation.
• Park only in the designated guest parking areas described in the digital guidebook. No parking on the grass.
• RVs, campers, trailers, and boats are not permitted. EV charging is not currently available.
• Personal photography and videos of your stay are welcome—we hope you capture plenty of memories here!
• Professional/commercial photography or filming, brand or product shoots, content productions, or similar uses require prior written approval and may be subject to a separate location/use fee.
Accidents happen! If something is broken, damaged, spilled, or isn’t working properly, please let us know as soon as possible so we can address it quickly.
Guests are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear, missing items, excessive cleaning, or costs resulting from violations of these house rules. Applicable charges may be assessed through your booking platform or in accordance with your rental agreement, as applicable.
